Genuinely don’t get how anybody who like playing +R and/or Xrd can like Strive. I just can’t, it’s so far removed from what 20 years of GG plays like that unless you’re an influencer or pro player who both need the money, the game won’t interest you because it’s total ass. And this is reflected in my friend list on Steam, all the players I met on Xrd and +R are still playing those games and none of them is playing Strive.

Been saying it from the start but that game was made from the ground up for people actually never like Guilty Gear. And it’s not a coincidence that top 3 at Evo consists of 2 Smash players. So yeah I guess it’s cool for all these people to finally get into GG and I guess Arcsys made the right move since it sold so well but like, y’all have fun with your wall breaks and wack air dashes.
