1.5 Year Old Pup Peeing in House..

I'm sorry. I was a little unspecific, and I was in a little bit of an emotional tizzy when I threw this post together. The dog urinates like this from time to time anyway, but is generally very good about letting us know he has to go out.

I guess there's also a lot of things I missed when I wrote this. Like that we are in the process of getting him to his next vet appointment, a new vet, not the er vet, from the accident. The dog has other normal puppy problems like chewing and running even though he goes for regular walks and always has the option to play and use the bathroom outdoors. We dont live cooped up, and he has quite a bit of room to run.

It isn't that I feel like its -totally- unhinged behavior by any means, and we've contacted and made arrangements for him to be seen, but we live in a small area and we are by appointment only so it's difficult to just get him in and out at a vet.

I'm also probably very worried about the behavior my fiance has expressed with him, but the dog has never been hurt by anybody, but rather yelling is something he struggles with with the dog. This, itself, was the worst part of all of this, as we can only do so much as we wait for the dogs appointment to come. The dog, by every body else, is treated just as well as any one of us humans. We love him, hes a sweet little dog and very affectionate. There has never been an instance like this particular one in the past.

I was very upset by everything that's happened, and I'm honestly working to make sure the dog has the best care possible. I would never put his safety below anybody else's. He is family, too.

I probably should have never posted, especially while emotional. I realize I'll likely be chastised for trying to explain myself (poorly, I might add).. but I just didnt know if, while we're waiting on seeing his new vet, if there were opinions about regressed behavior in potty training. He still has accidents, occasionally, and it's only been this last week which has been terribly concerning with this behavior. It was Father's Day that he was hit, and he did well with rehabilitation up until this point.

Probably should have just waited to see the vet and not asked reddit. I seem like a jackass and a terrible pet owner to you.. and that's my fault. But I guess I had read worse stories on similar threads and was just looking for some help.
