1.8.0 Megathread

I was confused with mixed reviews on compatibility page of Wonderful 101, so I decided to try it myself. It appeared that there are some tricks to run the game properly - because usually you'll just get black screen after launching the game in cemu. The point is that there are too many sound files in your usual release of the game, and it tries to load them all in one go, which result in very big loading times, like 20 minutes or so (even on actual console, probably a game engine bug). So here are few steps that may help you (depends on cemu version though, see notes below):

1) Check the game region and set the same console region in cemu settings (language settings are not important). 2) Download the certain patch for the game (just google for title including patch/fix, the first link is most likely yours) - there are few variations of it, but I'll recommend with all languages (including japanese voices). Also this last variation doesn't require for your game to be updated, the update is already included. 3) After applying the patch (simply copy patch files over existing ones with overwriting), delete "stream" folder from "/content/sound/" (but leave the rest of other files and folders in "sound", only "stream" folder should be removed). 4) Now you can launch the game like you usually do. Now it should boot in about 20sec.

Notes: This method didn't not work on 1.7.5 (at least for me), but worked on 1.8.0 with EUR version of the game, though they say it should work with USA version too. The game if pretty unplayable though (as for now) - because of broken shadows, sometimes low fps in actual missions and memory leaks in some moments (for example, in cut-scene after 4 mission), when cemu requires over 20gb of memory regardless of the shader cache size - and so on.

Nevertheless I hope it will help somebody to properly test the game in the future - for example, by fixing shadows with graphic pack or something.
