There is something to be said for mental health screening for everyone, but let's not single out licensed firearms owners. There is no evidence that licensed people attempt suicide at any higher rate than the general public.

I see many, many posts in this forum by people who want to deny firearms to anyone with a mental illness. I am just saying that the vast majority of people with mental illnesses are harmless. The book of mental illnesses is more than 1000 pages, anyone can be described as "having a mental illness." If you are talking about revoking licenses from people with psychosis, I am okay with that, but you should be very very clear.
