So I did a bit of research on the Dell S2419HGE, and from what I can tell, it is nicely constructed, but it has to be OC'd to 144hz and according to some redditors and the one review I've found from techradar, doing so causes serious ghosting issues. The same thing happened when setting the response time to faster than the normal setting (8ms) and it resulted in artefacts. In addition to having low gamma, unfortunately, it doesn't seem to be a monitor that competes with other TN panels and apparently doesn't have the benefits inherent in most other TNs (accurate panels with low response times and higher refresh rates). If I am too narrow in my conclusion, please do inform me. I appreciate the alternative option, but it looks like I'll stick with the one I already chose for now. Thanks!
