101 interesting fantasy facts from the 2016 season

I'm not sure why you're so aggravated in this discussion, but maybe you're just an angry dude. It's apparent that this discussion is falling on closed ears, so it's rather pointless to discuss, but you're still wrong, so we'll do it anyway for fun.

The 1st and 4th rounds are very different, so I'm not sure why that is relevant. I don't know where you got the 50% bust likelihood either, as I doubt it's that high, though I suppose your definition of a bust matters in that conversation too.

I don't claim to be that much of a badass; I stated that there are plenty of badass players available in the 4th round. I would argue that making playoffs all four years and winning the championship 2/4 is pretty successful, but that's fine if you disagree. I will try and do better, just for you bud.

You said the 6th and 12th QBs aren't different, but that is exactly what we are talking about. That exemplifies how deep QB is as a position. There are many QBs that put up consistent FF points outside of PRK 1-4, which isn't true for other positions to the same extent. Hell, I got Dak off the waiver wire and he ended up being a top 10 QB this season. That is an extreme of course, but you can draft QBs in the mid-rounds that still put up 20 points pretty regularly. Spending your 4th round pick on a talented RB/WR in order to get Kirk Cousins in rounds 6-8, who had 300 fantasy points and averaged 18.8 points a game, would be a good idea, because spending your 4th round pick on Drew Brees, who had 332 fantasy points and averaged 20.8 points a game, isn't a big enough difference to warrant wasting such an early draft pick on a QB.

Getting an elite player is always a nice thing to have, but it's not always the best use of your draft pick. There are many good options on the board in the 4th. Although many will be injured or underperform, many will have a great season too, and because QB has so many
