At times I feel like the market is going to become oversaturated with all of these limited print games (with companies like iam8bit and LRG leading the way) that are being put out, and honestly I have to question if enough time is being put into their development to make them games that are even worthy of the premium prices they are fetching. I wouldn’t know because the one singular game that I have ordered from one of these companies hasn’t shipped. If anyone here who has played these games has any objective opinion on the quality of these games vs the quality of indie games that have had a good amount of time and effort put towards their development (like Horizon Zero Dawn) I’d be happy to hear it. I just don’t know how one company can push out 60 vita games and however many PS4/Switch/XB1 games this fast (and knowing only 500 or 1000 people are going to play each game) and afford to give any thought towards the development of the game.
