Is a 1300 watt PSU enough for my system? It's 3 years old and I've been getting lots of BSODs...

It does sound high, but even at your lower estimate of about 1100 watts, you're still at an EXTREMELY high level of PSU load. PSU's aren't generally all that efficient, and using one at so close to capacity is something I always try to avoid.

My Corsair 1250 watt PSU has a USB port that connects to a USB header on the motherboard and had an app that tells me the power usage, maybe yours has something similar?

In your case you could either try a larger PSU (1500 watts is huge though, it's literally the max that most residential power outlets can support before you start tripping breakers) or you could hook up a second PSU to most of the peripheral devices for testing (I.e., hard drives, sound and video cards) I wouldn't split the voltage to the mainboard, but if you can offload some of the other devices for testing it would at least help you identify the problem. With such a high end system like that, I wouldn't be surprised if your case even had space for a second PSU for this very reason.
