The 14 Most Common Arguments against Immigration and Why They're Wrong

Of the immigrant neighborhoods I lived in, I would say that 99% of them were there because they wanted a better life for their kids. Even the ones on welfare, were more interested in the opportunity for their kids than in entitlements. None of them grew up in places where state welfare takes care of you, none of them had an entitlement mentality. The ones who had an entitlement mentality were the kids. The government schools were ruthless about pounding that into them. It was heartbreaking to see the government schools take perfectly good kids, and fight so hard to ruin them. There were literally shoving socialist bullshit down their throats under threat. White conservative families often knew enough to counter the socialist bullshit, the immigrant families often didn't know better at all, going along with whatever shit the government schools shoveled their way.
