14-year-old girl fires gun to save sisters from intruder

The NRA isn't saying you can't bring your carry gun to the city where the conference is. So your point is moot.

You are not allowed to bring the gun into the conference.

I don't know if your trying to say "embarrassments" somehow stop studies being conducted on them, which didn't seem to be the actual case.

I wish we can pin point the embarrassments but that article is basically saying that is the best data we have on embarrassments. They need more funding to research embarrassment. A 14 year old girl can use a gun without any injury. We need a better understand why embarrassment are so much worse than a 14 year old girl.

What laws are put in place that increase the safety of swords, pools, stairs, scissors, etc that had reduced injuries involving them? Pools and stairs kill more people than all rifles do, for example.

Stairs? Almost all buildings are required to be handicapped accessible which requires elevators.

All those things you mention have tons of laws which improves safety realize to their public use.

Swords are more regulated than hand guns in the US. Yea, there is always research to improve the safety of pools and stairs. I do not see as much research in gun embarrassments.
