Muscle memory is kind of a meme when it comes to mouse-screen connection, only hand-mouse coordination is muscle memory, try this test: Go to desktop, look at your mouse pointer, now pick something you will open, close your eyes, now try and move the mouse and open it. You will get close but you wont be able to do it consistant. If you actually had muscle memory, you would be able to do it with eyes closed. A basketball player can shoot 3s all day with eyes closed, you can type of your keyboard eyes closed, this is when muscle memory works. But you cant click an icon on the desktop with eyes closed, the muscle memory breaks down from mouse to screen.
