$15 Minimum wage passes Senate, Governor to sign into law in the coming days

This will get down voted to hell but, anyone who has made their way through the income levels has experienced this. When you move up into a new income bracket sometimes it becomes more expensive than to have stayed in a lower one. Healthcare is an absolute huge hurtle to jump and anyone who’s middle class has to deal with how real an expense it is. I’m okay with the minimum wage raising if it means more people are now making enough money to no longer need low income social systems like husky, not because I think people shouldn’t have good inexpensive healthcare, obviously we’d all love that, But because our state is in the hole so badly that we need to start saving money somewhere...
