15, USA - Anyone willing to teach me their language?

Its great that you want to learn a new language!

im guessing you are american and from my knowledge sadly most people there arent bilingual.

i suppose this is your first time trying to learn a new language so let me give you some advice.

Choose a language! learning a new language requires a ton of time. you will have to keep practicing and for that you need motivation. some good reason why you want to learn this specific language. i would recommend spanish probably to americans especially. its not a hard language. very useful and you can probably easily find some place to use and practice it nearby.

A random person will not just teach you a language. its not that easy. you should try to learn the basics first. then you can get a lot out of a native speaker.

once you are able to have simple conversations you can greatly improve by just using it.

I would recommend duolingo.com to you. great website and app to get started and keep improving. you can try different languages and see which one fits you!

i live in germany and grew up trilingual. speaking catalan with my mom and picking up spanish from tv, friends and familiy that dont know catalan etc, when we were there visiting always. i also obviously did english in highschool and french, as most germans do aswell.

now i am studying turkish. i first did some duolingo and my SO taught me, but now i do a course.

i do know many languages and this is what i can tell you from my experiences. everybody is different tho so do what works best for you

if you have any questions you can comment or also pm me anytime!
