15 yard grouping, what can I improve on.

Nope, not really. Apologies if I take my years of competitive shooting experience, the verbatim guidance of Brian Enos, and the accumulated wisdom of hundreds of top shooters over an internet rando.

I can grip the gun with two fingers of my support hand and pull the trigger with an otherwise unattached strong hand index finger — and place an accurate shot.

The key is not moving the gun during the trigger press. Isolating the movement in the trigger finger is far more important than how the gun is gripped.

For any discipline where timed fire matters, grip becomes more important. Not as a component of accuracy — but to allow for sight tracking, consistent return, and recoil mitigation.

If you don’t believe me, go bench your pistol. Rest it on the magazine. Put sandbags under the dust cover. Acquire an appropriate sight picture. Focus on gradually increasing pressure on the trigger without moving the gun.

Observe the impact exactly where the sights were aligned. Exceptional accuracy. No/minimal grip required.

How you hold the gun is not a large part of not moving the gun.
