162 Bass-less Pages of Holiday Marketing

Bass is definitely under-appreciated and only noticed when it's gone. We are the unsung heroes of the band, the glue between pure rhythm (the drums) and chordal instruments/harmony, the semi-awkward members who stand in the shadows, but - BUT that's what we relish in. Internally we know that we are what makes the band sound awesome, we know that the crowd might not "hear" the bass, but they definitely feel it, we know that we are the "silent" assassins that people whistle to unwittingly (seriously ask anyone to whistle to I Want You Back - Jackson Five, they will whistle the bass line guaranteed, we know all of these things, but we don't give a fuck. The bass will pound through their ears, their body, and their soul while the lead guitarist jerks himself off on stage and grabs all the attention. We operate on the front lines and take the heat, but we fucking grin and bear it, because what is music without bass?
