17 year old brutally assaulted by police officer after complying and requesting his mother be on scene, after his friend is pulled over for a license plate light out. Cops attempt to delete video

Ferguson at least took a stance to make change. Everyone knows they wouldn't get very far and they never do, but they still tried and made a point instead of saying "but they're too powerful". I think black people have had to fight for a lot more, such as racism and equality, and still do which is why they're willing to keep making a stand against wrong done.

How much will conversation change if they never listen to you? Every other week is a new story about American police brutality. From what I've read, senators are corrupt, police are corrupt, the vast majority of American officials/government are in some way corrupt and serving themselves and not the people. The police do what they want, and when they're clearly in the wrong they're given a "get out of jail free" card every time - no real consequences, no admittance of guilt, just some cover-up story with "we're looking into it" that results in not even a slap-on-the-wrist. And yet American citizens would rather sit by and moan and grunt saying "I'm going to write a negative comment about them" or "lets express our concern with higher corrupted officials" as if they actually listen or care because either way, you'll still do what they want without disobedience. Meanwhile they're willing to use violence against you, black people are willing to fight fire with fire for their freedom, and the white people sit around saying "I might get hurt or upset them. I'll just write them a mean letter".

When I was 17 and if I smelled of pot, although I'm in Canada, I worried about the police telling my parents and maybe a fine. Not being tazed and assaulted. Your police are willing to attack youth!!
