April slows his speed.
APRIL All of few moments ago. (beat) And, you're the first I called. (curious) And I didn't even tell you about it.

COLT (V.O.) Well talk about coincidence.

APRIL Broken news. A rustling from Colt's end of the transmission.
COLT (V.O.) And...they're setting up outside.
APRIL Oh really.
COLT (V.O.) Yes. Really. (growling) You know what day it is, right?
APRIL Another day?
April starts walking again.
COLT (V.O.) Yeah. Sure.
APRIL What's in the waves?
COLT (V.O.) That which you are now experiencing? Crowds are cheering on every channel. (beat) And it's forming reality as we speak.
Colt plays a NEWS FEED AUDIO.

APRIL Essentially, no news?
COLT (V.O.) I wouldn't say that. Again, the press is here. The news is waiting.
APRIL (dismissive) But so far, just a general narrative?
COLT (V.O.) It's Christmas morning. And... (evitative) They're knocking.
APRIL Don't say I never gift you anything.
