17F, need honest opinions about everything.

  • Don't be afraid of your teeth, your smile looks great in the last picture. If you just own it and smile confidently people will find that attractive. And a big smile makes your whole face look happy, whereas a tight-lipped smile doesn't show as much emotion and personality.

  • A little eye makeup wouldn't hurt, mascara or eyeliner - were you wearing makeup in the last picture or are your eyelashes photoshopped? I can see your lashes in that pic but in the rest they're nearly invisible.

  • Try to make a rule of 1 baggy item per outfit, max. A baggy shirt over skinny jeans or leggings can be cute, or a baggy hoodie or button-up over a fitted t-shirt/tank top. I highly recommend leggings, they're comfy and cute! I was also tomboy so it took me a while to get into wearing leggings but I love them now. You don't have to give up baggy clothes but more than one baggy item together just doesn't look good, it's not flattering and makes you sort of drown in clothes. You've gotta offset the baggy clothes with fitted/skinny clothes.

Don't be afraid to try new styles. Go to the store and grab some clothes that you think are cute but not what you'd normally wear (like things you like on other people), try 'em on. It's easy too get hung up on an idea of what's "you", but you can trap yourself in a corner with that. If you look at other girls and think "I love that look, but it's not something I could wear," really consider if there's any reason besides "because I've never worn that kind of thing." Sometimes there is, some clothes fit certain body types better than others, but a lot of times it's just because you're in a habit of dressing one way.
