What? No they haven't. Social security, FDIC, unemployment are very much still in place.
Yes we still have those ones. But they want to privatize social security. Raise the retirement age. Minimum wage hasn't gone up with inflation, etc.
The cause of the 2008 crisis wasn't due to lack of banking regulations, it was due to too many idiots defaulting on their loans.
There's this thing called Predatory Lending. They were pushing that shit hard. But no, lets blame the victims. That always works.
Perhaps the banks are somewhat to blame because they gave out too many loans
The truth is, it's a lot more complicated than that. According to the U.S Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission it was caused by:
Widespread failures in financial regulation, including the Federal Reserve’s failure to stem the tide of toxic mortgages; Dramatic breakdowns in corporate governance including too many financial firms acting recklessly and taking on too much risk; An explosive mix of excessive borrowing and risk by households and Wall Street that put the financial system on a collision course with crisis; Key policy makers ill prepared for the crisis, lacking a full understanding of the financial system they oversaw; and systemic breaches in accountability and ethics at all levels.

I'm not sure about the income inequality, but I would guess that it's not the same either.
Maybe you should do some research. Here's some more info.
Healthcare being a right is a perfect example of socialism.
Ok, but we don't have that.
Taxes in the 1700-1800s were a mere pittance compared to taxes today.
We didn't have an interstate highway system back then either.
