You get a lot of questions asking why you got your tattoos when you have a sleeve, so here’s a word of advice.

When you explain this to people it’s going to be absolutely too much for them to remember any of that and you’re going to get a lot of awkward silences with nodding. Lead and end your explanation with the most relatable or just only explain the 3 people can relate to except the Poppy. No stranger wants to hear sad stories.

Eventually you’ll get tired of this and you’ll do what I do. Look at your tattoo, act surprised and say “what’s this? Ahh, this is a bad decision by an 18 year old with a FAFSA refund” cause nobody thinks getting an octopus sleeve is meaningful no matter how much shit you tell em, so just roll with it.
