19 teenage Indian students commit suicide after software error botches exam results.

And when there is competition foreigners can just but businesses and hire friends and family, and then I'm sure eventually just people from the same culture.

I used to work at KFC, one guy owned all of them in the city except for one. He sold the business and the new owners were "generous" enough to keep the old staff on

We were used to ease the transition then we were discarded like trash. From all appearances they have replaced 90% of the local work force with their friends and family. Not to be racist but when only 10% of the workforce in an international chain that has employed locals for decades matches 90% of the ethnic demographics, it's weird. You'd expect to see that in an Indian restaurant.

Don't get me wrong, I hate white privilege, I think people should be able to have opportunity, but to deceptively steal opportunity from others?

If they were honest we would have known to start looking for new jobs! Only two weeks notice for people who had been there for years as they were "new employees" under the new owners.

They even lowered my pay back to minimum wage without any paperwork or notification (we just kept going into work, nothing really changed until we started getting let go)

It was kind of devastating for me because before and still to this day I have been struggling to find decent full time work. I got let go within a week of earning a full time day shift cook position.

Now when I go to buy a big crunch it's like being served by a robot that won't even say "sorry I don't understand"

I asked if they still had the cheap value menu toasted wrap and they ring me up for a twister and ask for way more money than I expected

I ride my bike to a different one while I'm house sitting and they dont have cans of pop like the other one, just the 591mL bottles. I look at the guy and say "you don't have any cans? Is there an upcharge for the bottle?" And he just asks for money without acknowledging that I wanted the bottle or answering my question.

It's really frustrating when you lose your job to someone who clearly is horrible at fits, but just knows the right people
