We literally have multiple actors confirming large sections of their time were cut (Domnhall Gleason, Dominic Monaghan, and Kelly Marie Tran). We have official promo photos of a Rey-Rose scene that lines up with what the post said, and we know for a fact that there were multiple scenes filmed between Rey and Rose via interviews with Daisy and Kelly (specifically Kelly, who was super excited about her character's scenes with Rey). Interviews as late as late November with Kelly that were absolutely confident those scenes were in the movie, so those scenes DEFINITELY got cut at the very last minute. 2-3 Rey-Rose interactions alone would add 4-6 minutes to the film; add that to the extension of the Mustafar scene we 100% know exists via Domnhall Gleeson and Dominic's discussion of cut scenes and like...it's not exactly out of the bounds of imagination that the extended cut exists. There's precedent for it, after all (LOTR, for example).
