Here's the sad truth: if they could get away with it, many guys would be having sex with all of their female friends, and probably half the random girls they run into.

A guy being willing to have sex with you means almost nothing. In one psychological experiment, when propositioned by random college aged females, 75% of men immediately agreed to have sex with a complete stranger.

This guy has not treated you like he values you at all, and the hooking up with you does not contradict that. The fact that he told you he loves you to achieve that, then reversed course, speaks to his dishonesty and lack of concern for your feelings.

You will meet some great guys in life who will treasure you, there is no need to tolerate this kind of person.
