1k upvotes and I won't off myself

Four months ago you said you were inspired to help others suffering from depression after a visit to the ER...

Go back to that moment and think for a second.

People that are out there suffering as you are could really use your help and you genuinely seemed inspired by it at the time. You've experienced it, you feel it, it eats away at you. Who better to help others than someone that knows deep down what that feels like. Use that as the strength you need.

If you're looking for purpose, and if you were as inspired by it as you said, then that is what you should do.

There could be a man/woman/child out there that is waiting for just that and you could be the one to prevent them from being/feeling the way you are now.

YOU could save THEIR life.

Mistakes and how we deal with them define us as individuals. Not our jobs. Not how much money we make. Not how many friends we have on some bullshit social media platform. Not our relationship status. Nothing.

Nature saved my life. Out of all the hustling to be the man everyone thought I should be, I ended up finding comfort in the wilderness. Where none of that mattered. Then others started sharing that experience with me and I've haven't looked back. I see the world and capture it through a lens or sketchbook now.

It's how YOU choose to grow/live. Not how others think you should. If that is the case here (as it was for me).

Everyone can have a purpose/place and a lot of times it's right in front of you.

Do not make a mistake that you will prevent you from saving someone else.

Do not make a mistake of thinking you do not matter.

Do not make the one mistake that you can never learn/grow from.
