$2,500??

Yh I guess it says more about you than about me that you start throwing "transphobic" around after an honest question (maybe a misunderstanding) that I've seen "they" thrown around a lot more lately (in my experience) and simply inquiring about it. Instead of addressing my actual question/thought that I (maybe wrongfully) have lately noticed a trend where people say "they" when it's obviously addressed to a single person/commenter and why that is? you (sorry they) question my motives my abilities to express myself in English as well as my motives. That is condencending att best and I don't know why you rushed to "defend" something (trans rights) that I didn't attack.

Since I asked my question (out of curiosity, nothing else for the record)

1) Insinuated that I am not really comfortable/competent in the English language (under the false pretence of caring/understanding "maybe English is not your first languge?", "why do you single out one particular quirk?" - Because (I have experienced) that's it's a trend lately and I want to know what's going on. I didn't put any judgement into it and most of all BECAUSE THAT WAS WHAT WAS SAID NOW. It's in the context. Do you want me to ask you unrelated questions, Mx English scholar about other English words/phrases I am confused about? Again. It wasn't really a question about the actual word used as much as it was about the trend I percieved/"imagined"

2) Accused/bunched me up with "transphobics" (as per your definition I guess)

3) Had the audacity of ,not straight up calling me but rather, explain to me how I can come across as rude to some (a very small minority) of people.

All the above is done under a (thin) veil of well meaning lecturing to some unkown stranger on the internet. That you have assumed holds prejudice and have demonized according to your image. Well you know what's worse than risking being rude out of ignorance? Being a straight up asshole by assuming things and trying to talk down on people you don't know. So let me take the liberty and return the favor; you are not half as smart as you think you are. Save your unwanted white knighting for your circle and grow up. Being right is not the same thing as having backup/reach consenus in a clique. Misinterpreting/assuming guilt to lecture someone over an innocent question is never nice, no matter how many pats on the back you get from your circle. So before trying to "educate" the next internet stranger - clean your own house.
