2 hour play session review for anyone on the fence

Once again I want to say, everyone says the first few hours are the greatest. So was the case in Anthem though. Games nowadays are made so the first few hours are very captivating and hooking for players, then the game slogs and goes downhill in one way or another. Don't base your decision off the first few hours of just hype. The publishers and developers aren't very well known, their games have been ok, but seen very low popularity and playerbase, and there's a reason for this.

Wait at least a week or two until more threads come up of people's experiences at mid to end game. The loot could probably drop off, weapons become boring or trivilized, bugs ramp up a lot more, end game could be boring, the "procedurally generated" areas could only really have like..5 tile sets or something once you restart the game and you see the same few ones, etc.

40 dollars isn't AAA price, but it's close enough to at least keep an open mind and not judge it based on trailers and gameplay review of the first few hours, that's how a lot of us got fooled with Anthem.
