2 month-lasik post-op: Huge regret

Please don’t write off an enhancement (but don’t rush into one, either).

I just can never trust this kind of surgery again. I was very on the fence about getting it, and the result was that they messed up both my eyes. That's 0/2 success rate.

As I said, my complications are annoying, but they are decidedly annoyances and not disabilities. If I go back in and end up disabled as a result of going under the knife again, I will never be able to live with myself.

A hard contact lens trial can be pursued immediately if needed.

I just dropped 3500 on LASIK, I dont really have another 10k to spend on contacts

Something doesn’t add up with your pupil comment. A 3.0 mm pupil is normal, or maybe on the small side depending on lighting conditions.

This weirded me out too. I asked the doctor what my pupil size was after she commented that "your pupils are huge". She said 3.0. Maybe she meant in bright conditions? Because I asked if she measured them in low light and she said no. It's also possible that she straight up lied to me. I am definitely losing faith in the ethical fiber of the people who did this to me. She did hesitate a lot before answering, come to think of it, and didnt look at any charts.

Do you have your records?

I have my 3 months followup in a few weeks and I was planning on asking for my records then. Hopefully they didnt falsify anything in there.

Trying Alphagan is harmless; please don’t reject that based on your concern about dry eye.

I am willing to give it a try, but I heard it was a bad long term solution.
