2 weeks ago, lumber prices were at all-time highs. Now they're up another 25%. What is going on here?

The bubble doesn't exist. You have entire family's going in on mortgages now. The day's of a single person's wage buying a home are over. My entire neighborhood is Chinese and South Asians with literally 5-6 people living in a house all supporting the mortgage payments. It's been like this since the 90's in Vancouver. These situations account for 90% of the sales in Vancouver right now. My best friend just got married and him and his wife literally had support from half a dozen family members on both sides with financing, money for down payment and co-signing. I feel like only second generation Canadians that lack that "Immigrant Mentality" and have lack of family support are the ones being effected most by this 'House Market' unfortunately.
