No. Download MyFitnessPal on your phone, set your current weight and exercise level (sedentary etc), then set it to the amount you want to lose each week. The amount you should lose per week depends how heavy you are right now.

Track everything that goes into your body as accurately as possible, including drinks (apart from water, you can drink as much of that as you like).

It's hardest at the start. There WILL be times that you are so hungry you feel like you need to eat something. Try not to give in to this, it gets easier as your stomach shrinks. Also I would highly recommend that you cut out all fizzy drinks like Coke, Mountain Dew etc, as they are really fucking bad for you and have a lot of calories.

I don't know you, but if you are really addicted to the sugar, at least limit your fizzy drink intake to 1 per day or something (the less the better). Sugar is terrible for your energy levels btw, it gives you brief energy and then leaves you tired, so you crave more.
