As I excitedly downloaded this to give it a try, I notice the download goes through Google Drive. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but if you'd like to have a little space where you could provide a direct download link (i.e. a link to the zip directly), I'd be happy to set you up. No credit, no advertising, you'd have full control of an account on one of my servers.

As the briefest of "Who the f*** are you?" explanations: I've hosted most of the Simutrans for more than a decade. I've also happily donated resources to other projects over the years. (I hosted a Minecraft "world" map that was around 2GB in size for a couple of years until downloads basically ceased, for example)

If you liked this idea, I could either set you up with a subdomain of any of mine that point to my servers (sitedev.team is what I'd suggest - perhaps life.sitedev.team?), or if you own a domain, you could point a subdomain to my server.

This offer is open indefinitely, although if bandwidth exceeded a couple of terabytes per month, it might be time to look for a larger solution - but you certainly should have enough income to do that (and this is not hidden advertising - I do webhosting, but only of small-medium projects, so you'd be out of my league at that point).
