20/32: Why Will/Why Won't The Philadelphia Eagles Win The 2016 Super Bowl? [SERIOUS]

not actively disagreeing with you(they definitely are the will/wonts of the eagles in 2016), but these are common questions wrt the eagles so using your post as a jumping point.

Won't: Bradford, even if healthy, proves to not be an improvement over Foles, and forces the team to over rely on the run game

a healthy bradford vs a healthy foles isnt a wash, it's a massive upgrade. bradford had a worse situation at every position, plus worse coaching and still put up okay numbers. he's a better decision maker and physically a better passer in every way. there's a reason he was a #1 pick and foles wasnt. making the reasonable assumption that sanchez and bradford's offenses were similarly meh, bradford may see a 10-15% bump in his stats.

barring some sort of PTSD from the injuries this is extremely unlikely to be a reason for the eagles to fail to get into the playoffs. if they do fail it's likely because of an external force, like in 2014 where everything lined up to exclude them from wildcard.

Peters shows that he is mortal, and starts to decline in performance, hurting the pass game even more

even if he declines a little he's still way over replacement. only way he hurts the passing game this year is if he isnt playing for some reason, probably for punching Chris Baker again.

The team does not click together chemistry wise in the first half of the season, leading to 2011 like underachievement

2011 the eagles had an Oline coach promoted to D coordinator. 2011 had a lot of team chemistry issues, but bad coaching was a big part of it.

player personality and culture fit as a whole has been a big part of what coaches are looking for since chip got there. every team says they have a good culture, and new players typically say it(makes fans happy) but it seems like the eagles live it. as an example, connor barwin. cutting desean. the eagles seem to be aiming for pleasant people persons even at the expense of perhaps slightly less ability.

The Giants, on an easier schedule, surpass expectations and get 10+ wins on the season

practically a guarantee this will happen, fucking giants.
