Wow. Great choice. I mean of course you pull out a track from that LP, considering its definitely his most "pop" approach to music. But you have to understand why records like that were being made. Songs like the one you linked and Stronger, Good Life & Homecoming were all made so that his name could be recognized more. This is, by most people, his worst album. But the thing is that there is no bad songs on it. It's considered his worst because how pop it is, and that Kanye isnt pop at all. The album he put out directly after this was probably his most influential album to date which no doubt spawned the careers of stars like Drake, The Weeknd, Kid Cudi. And before that Ye started the careers for John Legend, and basically reinvented Jay Z's, Big Sean & now Travis Scott. That album is very sad and moody and not happy really at all and received a lot of backlash from many fans and critics, but sonically it changed the game forever but it wouldn't be noticed until years later. The album he put out directly after that was probably during the time in his life where he was considered the most hated person in the world for the taylor swift incident. That album went on to be his Magnum opus (for now maybe) and ended being the most critically acclaimed project from any artist's from any genre in years. 3 years later after much waiting and anticipation he puts out a tight 10 track LP titled YEEZUS with no marketing or singles at all. This received extreme backlash just because of the name, and how people judged it just by how industrial and hard hitting the first song was, and many people turned it off and never listened to it again. But it was very acclaimed and critics loved it. I will even admit it took about a month to finally enjoy it all the way through and now it's a 10/10 masterpiece. Now we're at 2016 3 years after YEEZUS and Kanye is now Kanye's kardashian pretty much and he has more fans and haters(like u) than ever. A month ago he put out his new album thats titled the LIFE OF PABLO exclusively for Tidal. It's basically a gospel album with a ton of cussing. Idk even know how else to put it. It's fucking awesome and it was pirated over a million time in under 24 hours since it's not available for purchase. You should really check it out once it hits iTunes soon cause you might change your mind on him. I once hated him to but his music is just to good nowadays
