The problem is the game is basically The Matrix. There's literally no consistency whatsoever. I had a 92 overall Pure Lockdown with HOF badges and a 99 steal. I've been playing 2K since the original on Dreamcast. I've been playing a Lockdown build since 2K17. I know how to count how many dribbles and estimate how much stamina they ball handler has and how to time my reaches. And yet a PlaySharp or Slasher can just mash square and rip my PG or teammates, meanwhile if I even look at the guy I'm guarding I get hit with a foul. It's honestly comical and don't even get me started on the running down the court and hitting square, steal animation that's STILL IN THE FUCKING GAME. It's honestly a joke of a game. If it wasn't for the fact that I've gotten it free the last 3 years I probably would've stopped playing it like I did when Madden went to shit.
