No they did not. A type designer did. It's called tabular lining. The space between the decimal and number was already set by the type designer and kerning is ignored since it's lining numbers. For all your talk, you come off a little snobbish and lack some of that knowledge in design. Claiming to be good in photoshop proves nothing here since the image OP posted if one wanted to could be easily replicated if one knew the font used. It's that simple. I don't disagree the spacing is off between the two as you originally pointed out and I also don't disagree with you about the high resolution of the image but lets not forget that this UI is super easy to replicate. It's UI/UX 101 really. So if OP really wanted to fake it just to match the original UI as provided by Robinhood or whatever then it really is that easy because of the simplicity of the design. There is no need to go to such lengths to move the decimal point by 1 px lol. I'd like to give the OP the benefit of the doubt and believe css screwed things up somewhere along the lines or the rasterizer did.
