The 2012 San Diego fireworks mishap was caused by a faulty computer file misreading "second" as "millisecond." (Warning: loud)

Wiki's reasoning is even weirder. "Corrupted computer file." Neither the title of this submission nor the wiki's reasoning is correct. However the source of the quote is giving unclear explanation on what happened. It never used the word "corrupted" or corruption on file. The explanation was main launch instruction file and the back up launch instruction files were merged. This new file was then sent as the launch instruction. Since back up and main file are same, this created a duplicate trigger effect on the fire works.

As far as I've read from the source, there is nothing about confusing seconds and milliseconds. Nothing about file corruption. Just bad coding.
