In 2013, Friday Night Lights' author Buzz Bissinger wrote this article about his addiction to high end clothing. Although it isn't new I think it's worth a read.

I literally mean that wyatts look more like an intentional stylistic choice than something more "normal" like oxfords or chelseas.

Again, I don't even know what that means. "Intentional stylstic choice." So the guy in G&G accidentally stepped into his shoes whereas the guy in SLP thoughtfully chose his? (Instead of being just dressed by the internet?)

Exactly which "big cities" are you visiting where that is common?

New York, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, mainly.

Have you ever been to, like, the business district of any city ever?

Yes, all the suits are terrible. If you think that's what an SR suit looks like, you don't know what you're talking about when it comes to tailoring.

That anti-Hedi circlejerk is far stronger than the pro-Hedi one, and literally nobody ever has brought up a black MA-1 as an example of "interesting designer fashion". I'm getting bored of all your straw men, can you actually link me to any of the millions of posts you're complaining about?

No, I'm not going to comb through MFA to find you a million links to posts.

Anti-Hedi crowd is small compared to the pro-Hedi crowd. And it's not even just about Hedi. Every time something about designer fashion comes up on here, it's the same boring MA1, DR, black skinny jeans, minimalist sneaker, SLP Kanye cos play look.

If I see another guy in the city walking around in those stupid suede CP sand Chelsea boot, with black skinny jeans and an MA-1 bomber, I might kill myself.
