2015 Fit questions

3) the EX has less road noise and slightly worse MPG. YOu get a bigger touch screen, sun roof and rims. Not sure what that is worth to you. The sunroof install would probably be a nasty costly project with issues, but I'm sure by getting the EX you are overpaying for the rims, they are probably factoring about $1200 for the rims, you can get a nice original set for a lot less.

4) I've been considering the Fit, but the new Mazda3 is tempting, it's a bit more money, it's not as ugly as the fit. The mazda3 is more masculine, although the Fit does seem to have a lot of male drivers considering it's a subcompact. I associate Subs, minivans, crossovers and Volkswagon anythings as more female driven vehicles. I'm hearing pretty bad things about the White Honda Fits paint job suffering paint chips(may be the driver of these vehicles tailgating). It's really the color I wanted living in the FL sun, dark colors just don't do well otherwise I'd always go black. I've heard the seats are pretty uncomfortable and the center arm rest is too low to use. Personally I love the cargo space, the interior is very nice I think Honda usually has terrible interiors(dash layout) on all their vehicles but you have to love the redesign. I like that it's small and will squeeze into spots, Fits hold their resale value and it's one of the few cars where it makes more sense to buy new vs. used as the depreciation is minimal. But for $20K OTD for an EX there are a ton of great used options, but on the other hand I'm under the impression that cost of ownership would be super low on this vehicle. I hate paying full price for anything and there are not much wiggle room on Fits, I'm waiting for the 2016s, because if I am going to pay full price and Honda not offer any sales on this vehicle no sense in buying a car 3 months away from being last year's model at full price, plus the whole first year redesign issues and lets face it, this is completely redesigned inside and out
