I know that it isn't magic, and I'm not expecting to lose 3+lbs a week. It was just a bummer to not see it budge a SINGLE fraction of a pound despite excellent eating (10-20g carb a day and a 500cal deficit) and exercise over the course of 3-4 days. It was just venting, not calling the diet BS or ANYTHING of that nature. I know that my personal weight loss will not be fast because I am already very close to my goal. I have done keto in the past and had great results when I was at a heavier weight, and when I was doing CI<CO it was a long haul lifestyle change as well that I have continued to adhere to almost two years later. I am fully aware of the length of time it will take me to reach my goal, I just was frustrated after working very hard and having a crap morning at work. If venting isn't permitted in these threads I'll be happy to ensure I don't do it again, but I genuinely am unaware if this is the case. Not trying to be snarky, but if I'm honest, your reply came across a bit condescending.
