[2017-11-14] /r/keto Community Support for Tuesday 14th November 2017

Haven't posted here much yet, but this community has been a huge support. Been unhealthy (and have seen my weight slowly climb) for years now, and this WOE has been transformational way beyond the scale.

Unfortunately I've hit a plateau for the past month and I'm getting a bit frustrated. This always seems like the point at which anything I try (CICO, HIIT, etc.) stalls out—while the number on the scale may look pretty good, it's actually quite a bit overweight for my body type. With past efforts, I'd give up after a few weeks of no progress. Don't want to do that again.

To that end, I could use some encouragement, as I've gained, lost, gained, lost, gained and lost the same 4 pounds for the past month. I'm tracking my macros carefully, and have adjusted them as my weight has dropped, but I'm still stuck. Have even done a couple 24 hour fasts, which helped drop a pound or two, but they'd come right back on a couple days later.

Any tips for breaking through? Or just some mental health suggestions for staving off frustration? Thankfully the other benefits of keto are so amazing that I have no plans to stop, regardless of what the scale says, but that weight loss was definitely a powerful motivator and I'd love to keep it going!
