2017 Australian Grand Prix - Day after Debrief

Also ignoring the race. I'm pretty iffy on the formula as a whole. The cars don't look much faster on TV and I think we're seeing big signs of them struggling to pass.

It all just feels a bit lackluster still, doesn't it? There's something missing that I can't quite place. Or maybe it's a case of the more things change the more things stay the same, and that's the issue.

Don't get me wrong, the cars look great. And having someone challenge the endless domination by Merc (if only because of a blunder) is good. But... truth be told I can't be bothered about either Merc, Red Bull, or Ferrari. So seeing either slot into P1 doesn't really make much of a difference to me. It doesn't enhance the experience.

I guess it also didn't help that I was rooting for Alonso to turn that 11th into a 10th all race, and then when he did I was just waiting, hoping, waiting, hoping that he'd keep it - only to lose it a few from the end :(

Eh I don't know. I guess I just wanna see more new teams winning for a change, instead of basically the same teams from the last 15 whatever years.
