2017 Content Survey

Topics i think that are good to discuss

First is boss difficulty. I personally said Gw2 difficulty because i feel like the content is difficult enough to not be a joke, but easy enough to be accessible, and the rewards are really good. More bosses like this would probably encourage more people to boss, and when rs3 is largely about bossing, it can't be a bad thing. I'm voting this with the idea that they are going to still update raids and arraxor type bosses semi frequently. What I was voting for, in my mind, is if there are 3 boss updates every 2 years, 2 of them will be gw2 styled.

Second was weapon styles. In all honesty, I think "fashionscape" while being a "dank meme" in the community, is still a crap ton of fun. I enjoy pulling together different pieces of gear to try and look different or stand out. So that type of stuff kind of deems "axe or mace" kind of pointless because i have a weapon over-ride

Third Mounts. Mounts are one of those things where I know there's a lot of possible downsides to them. For example flying really messed up a lot of stuff in wow. And in other mmos it trivializes transportation. How ever, in rs, there's already heavy transportation with lodestones and all that stuff. I mean, maybe something that lasted like 10-15 seconds, on an instant cast time, 1.5m cd? so that it speeds up going from a tp spot\lodestone to your destination

Fourth I like that they are polling adding skilling to the end game. I think it adds more end game to skills than just "120's\200m" somethin that not everybody enjoys. I would suspect it might bring a crowd of people back if advertised right.

fifth i think prestiging could be a lot of fun and could add extra skill end game. Could possibly tie into the skill based end game they were talking about. however, it'd have to be done incredibly right to encourage 5.4's to even think about it, and the highscores would have to 100% reflect prestige level.

sixth pet battles are something that gets railed on in the wow community, it takes away resources from serious content updates. HOWEVER, you cannot deny that it adds an aspect to the game for the social player. it will 100% be a tie to the game for a lot of players that don't have max skills and the likes. I know everyone on reddit is 5.4, but having a strong casual player base can add a lot of revenue to the game. I think as long as jagex doesn't make the mistake blizzard did and go crazy with "casual content" updates, it'd be good for the game. Achievement system ties into the same concept; though as a hardcore player in wow, i personally found achievements to be fun, fulfilling, and quite addicting. would add a lot of content to the game
