I didn't begin a ketogenic diet by choice rather my body turned towards it after training boxing for a month. I'm finding that after a boxing workout I'll have to eat heavy fatty meals for like 5 days before I can get back to about 10% body fat and feel like a functioning human again. For those 5 days though I have no energy to do anything and I look like a zombie. I can get it down to like a 3 day recovery if I eat junk food like fast food. I don't like eating junk food but it almost seems like a necessity when I can't even walk outside without it feeling like Antarctica. Are there any healthy but hugely caloric fatty meals I can try? I've been doing a lot of shakes with canned coconut milk which is 100% saturated fat but I've had it so often it's starting to upset my stomach. Other than that I've tried eggs with avocados and peanut butter nut milk shakes and cheese pastas (I still eat carbs around my gym workouts). They don't recover enough fat and I still look emaciated in the face / low energy. New to this and struggling hard - but maybe that's just how it has to be until I'm better acclimated to boxing?
