Same here. Though it seems like it now, there are so many others out there going through the same struggles as yourself. It’s just hard to realize how others could be going through the toughest times in their lives as well when everybody wants to come off as a normal happy person on the outside.
What has helped me tremendously is therapy, but it did take me a while to get to a point where I was able to accept that I needed professional help. Before therapy however what did help was confiding in loved one(s) you know you can trust. Though it was hard at first for me to tell them what’s going on, it was such a weight off my chest to have a safe space/outlet for thoughts that can go crazy if bottled up for too long.
