2020 intake - answer this

One day in and y'all are wild! Yeah, no. You did not do the same 'song and dance' as 2020 JETs. You didn't apply in 2019 where the term COVID-19 sounded like some fake Grey's Anatomy disease. I got on a plane for the airport to do an in-person interview, and I'll be honest and say I killed it. I graduated in the middle of a pandemic, missed out on so many opportunities, and had multiple cry sessions over them, but the thing that kept me going was April 1st when I got my acceptance to JET. We were delayed about 2-3 months before departure, then Japan opened back up BEFORE the application was even open for a month for y'all.

I personally chose to defer so why would I apply again when I already said I'd come in 2021? You don't tell those that have the option to defer grad school to boohoo apply again? You haven't been through the same thing as 2020 and to presume so is astounding.
