2021 Update from TFS

Another reason is our ongoing struggle with our image; our “brand”, if you would. DragonBall Z Abridged is still a huge part of our “brand,” and inarguably helped us get where we are today, but it is—for all intents and purposes—over.

Shifting the TFS brand is gonna be the hardest thing for you guys to overcome. It's like Mark Hamill trying to act in anything post-Star Wars. It's hard for anyone to see him other than Luke Skywalker and it's instantly the first thing people associate with him. Heck, I couldn't tell you right now, without going to wikipedia, the names of any movies Mark Hamill played in other than Star Wars. He eventually found his place in voice acting but people still will say "the guy who played Luke Skywalker is the voice of the Joker."

You'll need to develop something as popular, if not more, to fill the shoes DBZA left behind. Even then you might not ever shake the image of "the group that made DBZA." But if you come up with something entertaining enough you just might distract everyone enough from the fact that DBZA is gone for good.

In my opinion, I don't believe any of your current projects fill that role. Just rewind the clock back 3 years ago when the DBZA finale was approaching. Looking at your video feed, in between DBZA releases there were mostly various other DBZ vids, Machinabridged, music videos, and a few misc anime/gaming videos. DBZ was your main thing with a few misc things on the side. It kept our appetite wet while we awaited the next DBZA. Fast forward to just over a year ago, post-DBZA. Just looking at some of the video thumbnails I see Sonic, Mario, Unabridged, Animal Crossing, A bunch of Talkcasts, Beastars, JoJo, Steven Universe. With a few DBZ/FFVIIMA peppered in there.

Like, whats TFS thing now? If feels like the channel is all over the place with no direction. DBZ is no longer the main thing and that's fine. What is now? What's the next flagship that keeps us coming back?
