"David Dragicevic, a 21 year old IT and electronics student and amateur songwriter, vanished on the night of March 17-18 after going out to meet some friends. 

When his body was found six days later, police quickly ruled his death a suicide by drowning, and accused him of committing a burglary and being under the influence of drugs.  But David’s family and many of his friends are convinced he was murdered and believe police are involved in a cover up to protect the perpetrators.  “I have a lot of evidence that the Police of Banja Luka are responsible,” Mr Dragicevic said in an interview. “They kidnapped my son. They tortured him; they raped him; they killed him.”

Mr Dragicevic says forensic evidence, including pictures of the body passed to him by sympathisers inside the police force, shows he had been tortured and sexually abused for several days before he was finally killed.  He says CCTV footage has gone missing and that there is evidence police planted evidence of a burglary to frame his son."
