I (21F) found out my friends (23F) best friend, and boyfriend doesn't exist.

I had a best friend that was a pathological liar. The lies were small and harmless. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. I found out a secret of his through his aunt by mistake and he panicked when he found out I knew but I acted ignorant and pretended I didn't know. It was a really personal secret about his family that I didn't feel right about knowing.

After awhile I realized the lies were just to feed his ego. I got sick of the lies and started to point them out. Then I had enough and just asked why. He turned on me, I hadn't seen this side of him before. Its never a good idea to confront a pathological liar. I just distanced myself from him. I eventually found out he was harassing me online then it got to a point where he started coming to my house late at night or calling on private numbers and trying to scare me. Really fucked with me and my trust in people. I question a lot of what people say.

Point is becareful. Your situation seems way more complicated and I would be careful. If she's willing to go to those lengths to lie she might try to protect that lie or lash out. Distancing yourself will become apparent aswell. Its a difficult situation.
