You have an excellent opportunity and your bf sounds like a manipulative ass tbh.

It's not selfish to have your own life, but it is stupid to give yours up for someone who wouldn't do the same for you. If you think you'll be fine without him and he's the one that starts crying and getting upset and THEN you're not fine.. you're letting him manipulate you to get what he wants. There's no magic point where that ever stops and if you stay with him in his hometown where he has everything he needs you'll be shackled forever and that'll be your life.
