It’s complicated, I didn’t tell her I loved her because this was my first real relationship. I didn’t tell her because I was expecting love to feel like “falling in love” where you’re completely infatuated. I’ve come to the realization that I love my friends but I’m not IN LOVE with my friends. The love with her was more the friend type, looking back on it. I told her that I didn’t love her, then we talked again a couple days later and I told her that I think I did love her and the reason why I never said I love her was cuz of trauma from a past relationship and because I was unsure. The truth that I wanna tell her is that the past relationship had NOTHINF to do with our relationship and the real reason why I never told her I loved her was because I didn’t understand the process of falling in love, because I had never done it before.
