22/M/Nj Looking for a chemistry and math study pal

Well I'm not young, and I did not do well in school. Not because I am not smart I had family issues and I rebelled. I started my college in like pre-algebra because I did not study for the test. All that was very easy. I started having to study in college algebra. And pre-calc was an eye opener for me. In calculus I did have to study and have classmates help review. But I also had a lot on my plate. My ex was going to school also, i worked 50-60 hours a week, I had two kids to cook for and help with homework ect., and I always took way to many classes. But with all that going on I passed with b's. You can do it. I know some websites that were more than likely responsible for helping me understand the materials best. I'll look those up. I can help you if you need. Are you taking the classes online, hybrid, or in person? Feel free to ask for help from me. But a little advice if I may. Try to stick with one professor, teaching styles are extremely different. One prof might let you use a calc for some things and another for very little. You don't wanna learn how to do something one way and next class you have to learn a different way. Always do your assigned homework, practice helps you retain the info better than a cram session. Last but not least ask questions if you need, its easy to miss a small detail that is critical to solving major portions of the problems. Also utilize what ever services your institution offers (a math lab, teachers assistants offering extended classes, ect). I'll track down those sights for you. But if I can do it with being stretched beyond my resources then you can too. What kind of engineering degree are you looking for? Some pay MUCH more than others. I have decided to change my major from mechanical engineering to the IT field or some sort of software engineer. But I know petroleum engineering paid like 85k to 95k from college. Also I know quite a few Electrical and Mechanical Engineers that graduated and are still jobless 1+ years later. A lot of mechanical engineering jobs are being outsourced to India by the aerospace industry as well as others. Do your research buddy and I wish you the best of luck.
